@RalphEmmers @MazMHussain @FelledMan @lndian_Bronson Right but the Russian civilization meme has basically zero appeal to Ukraine now, and even before the war a majority wanted to be closer to the EU.
Maybe civilizationism is inherently appealing to centers but not to peripheries.
