@kelvinfichter Right but while you're not yet ready to fully trust ZKPs, you want to guard against both ZKPs liveness failures and ZKP safety failures (invalid state transitions having valid-looking proofs). Hence the ability to start an optimistic challenge game while waiting for the ZKP.
