@Ericthaguru XYO is short for XY Oracle Network. We were originally called XYO Network. XY stands for the primary axes of the Cartesian coordinate system, and we also have a history of naming things in honor of philosophers like Decartes and Aristotle. XY Labs predates XYO, an XY project.
