@RidleyDM @GYamey @wanderer_jasnah Supposedly the claim is it would increase shingles. But you could vaccinate against shingles. So then maybe it comes down to cost?

@RidleyDM @GYamey @wanderer_jasnah

@mariavhawkins @wsbgnl He is well aware of this, which is why he sets up the false choice between "work" and "anti-mask".

@mariavhawkins @wsbgnl Or to put it another way, you can not refute what he's saying by claiming it is wrong. He will come forward with evidence that it isn't wrong, which does exist (including your chart). You have to recognize it is narrowly true but deliberately incomplete and misleading framing.

@mariavhawkins @wsbgnl I do think it's important because propaganda with a kernel of truth is potentially even more dangerous. So it is useful to recognize it as such and be very clear in calling out how it is stretching the truth and using that to manipulate.

@mariavhawkins @wsbgnl It's not wrong it is just manipulative and misleading. Pay close attention to the words used. "Works". According to your chart it does "work", it's just that in a real world, useful, practical sense "works" is a continuum not a light switch.
