@AndrewNoymer @mskathleenquinn I wouldn't say perfect-constant steady state. A dynamic equilibrium that is persists over multiple cycles (like seasonal flu) is another form of a steady state. A novel virus still mutating in unknown ways with little track record to define an equilibrium certainly isn't.
