@NJoIdaR @TrumpUndead @jonathanchait There are a number of vaccines that don't erradicate but are effective to reduce severity. Flu being one, covid being another. Inactivated polio vaccine also doesn't stop transmission, it stops people from getting severe outcomes such as paralysis.
