@AGoldsmithEsq @OXHarryH1 @alexmeshkin That could happen but more plausible is reduced inefficient growing of water-hungry crops in an area with a severe and chronic water shortage. 80% of water usage is agriculture (though not all of this is wasteful). There's probably enough for the rest without much desalination.
