@AusThinkingGirl @taipan168 @covidtweets Pushing infections past availability of vaccine with ~90% efficacy against death is enormously better, but even if it weren't, pushing infections, sickness and death into the future is still successful mitigation. We never fully escape death, our goal is to delay it.
