Part due to lower severity, part due to most people getting flu once every 5-10 years. RSV is even lower impact than flu.

@fionaleslie @joshjob42 @NateSilver538 @conorsen I think the point was more about how far the case levels may drop. If they're so low you're very unlikely to even encounter the virus, then it is reasonable to stop worrying much about it. If not, then it's a different story.

Your personal risk assessment may be reasonable, but don't base it on that graph.
