Yesterday we got a report for the Producer Price index and it was bad, instead of the expected 0.2% m/m we got 0.4%, annualized = 4.8% instead of 2.4%. Meaning the cost of producing goods and services is going up so businesses have to rise prices which causes higher CPI.
