@slowhandzen In Covington it is. There's some awful stereotypes which folks snigger over in hushed tones.
But they earned it. Rapes. Beatings.
In the end, we always protect us.

@slowhandzen Covington is a big small town. It’s about 5 so miles but 250,000 people living on top of each other. The most densely populated city in the state.
You can get in a lot of trouble very easily if you’re not careful.

@slowhandzen Turnabout is fair play. If you’re clever about you can make them shut up too because nobody knows what’s gonna come out of your mouth next. 😉

@slowhandzen I never felt like part of the community long after I was. Mainstrasse, that area, is a tight knit bunch.
All of the business owners gossip. Everyone lends a hand to everyone else when they need it.
We had a break in that wiped me out. That community allowed me an exit. Grateful

@slowhandzen I gotta say there was no gunfire in 2014-2015 because my best friend was Don Bennett. They don’t wanna fuck with either of us much less both of us.

@slowhandzen If I lived there now, in 2022, there would be gunfire.
There was gunfire when I lived there in 2012.
Me and rednecks do not get along.
You know the difference between a hillbilly and a redneck?
Rednecks start fights, hillbillies finish them. I ain't no redneck.

Almost every day when I closed up shop I would go to Up Over and throw one back with people who did not give one single fuck about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency.
It makes your head right.

If you're ever in Covington, KY for some godawful reason, stop by Zola's for a burger and then the Up Over for a beer or two with some real people.
Tell them I sent you.
You might not get kicked out.

And for the record my name is not Victor and I did not fuck the wife of the owner of the Straus Haus.
That's not a story for public consumption. 😉

Running an independent coffee house in a small town in the middle of nowhere was one of the best experiences of my life.
Because of the people who stopped by and stayed forever in my memories.

This is Don Bennett.
Don is a real 1%'er. Former president of the Iron Horseman biker club. You can google that for their exploits.
He was dying of leukemia and wanted to make right with the world.
He started wearing sandals because I did.
Don died a good, worthy man. https://t.co/EnE2gQ0cJD
