Thanks to the help of a community member 🙌, the core team identified a root cause of the "flatline" issue some Hotspots continue to experience following the Light Hotspots activation.
A fix is currently being worked on and once tested, will be available for Hotspot Makers.

The core team is aware of some Hotspots flatlining or experiencing lower rewards for the past week. The team has been working hard on fixes & issued a new release yesterday for Hotspot Makers to update their fleets.
