There’s no silver bullet, but a few solutions can work:

⏰ Time delay between vote and execution, giving contributors time to react to a malicious proposal.
For example, @lidofinance recently added a time delay to their votes to increase security.

What can go wrong?
🌑 Dark DAOs: Malicious actors buy tokens to skew a vote
🤷‍♂️ Sybil attack: If wallets aren’t checked, contributors could get multiple wallets for more voting power
🏛 Centralizing over time: Whales buy more, while smaller holders migrate to other DAOs

Depending on if you chose 🪙 or ☑️, your voting methods will be different. 🪙 holds a weighted token vote on-chain, while ☑️ needs to allow-list a set of wallets before holding an on-chain vote.
