They are often dissatisfied with the existing status quo and see DAOs as a way to change how we coordinate.
They are looking to create a rewarding mechanism that benefits creators, consumers, and investors.

4) We’re building a new product because our existing stack was monolithic, working for a time when we needed a clearer definition on how to build DAOs.
Today, however, DAOpreneurs are building organizations to serve use cases that weren’t even possible back in 2016.
