When interacting with TWAP protocol by Orbs, users will need to specify three parameters:

∙ Trade interval

In addition to the price impact benefit of using TWAP, TWAP also allows execution of decentralized automated dollar-cost averaging strategies, where an investor chooses to purchase an asset with a specified dollar value on a specific schedule (i.e., every day, every month)

While the benefits are clear, why hasn’t any DEX made a decentralized solution previously?
Current EVM contacts make this an extremely difficult task to implement in a secure and decentralized way.
Orbs’ L3 infrastructure solves this problem using the new TWAP protocol.

The TWAP smart contract architecture defines 2 actors:
Maker (Order creator) - Sets all Order parameters such as limit price, expiration, and the length of delay between chunks.
